For generations, spades has been played at family reunions and gatherings. Every family has its own house rules. Every city has its own style. Every game creates another story you’ll tell long after the cards are put away. Those moments inspired everything my team and I have built.

Growing up, I didn’t learn spades from a rulebook. I learned it sitting across the table from family. Like so many people, I watched before I ever played. I listened to conversations, picked up strategy from older relatives, learned the importance of trusting his partner, and quickly discovered that if I reneged, someone at the table would never let me forget it. That’s how millions of people have learned spades, not through a tutorial, but through tradition.
